Strigolactones(独脚金内酯)areplanthormonesthatcontrolmanyaspectsofplantdevelopmentandenvironmentalresponses.Despiterecentandrapidprogressinthebiochemicalandmolecularunderstandingofstrigolactonebiosynthesis,transport,andsignaling,ourknowledgeaboutwherestrigolactonesareproducedandwheretheyactisfragmented(片断的).Inthisreview,wesummarizecurrentknowledgeabouttheseaspectsofstrigolactones,obtainedfrommutantphenotypes,graftingexperiments,geneexpressionpatterns,andproteinlocalizationstudies.Wealsodiscussthepotentialofnewimagingtechnologiestorevealthespatialregulationofstrigolactonefunction.
